Sway is made by Hemali Tanna and Kiren Tanna. This page explains what happens to your details when you join the waitlist on letssway.app. The Sway app has its own privacy policy, which we’ll publish when it launches.
What we keep
- Your email address.
- What brings you to Sway: exploring challenges, creating and hosting, or representing a brand.
- When you joined, and whether you’ve unsubscribed.
- A short code made from your internet address, so we can stop one place flooding the list with fake sign-ups. We don’t keep the address itself, and the code can’t be turned back into it.
What we use it for
To send you a welcome email and to tell you when Sway launches. If you said you create challenges or represent a brand, we may also reply to you about that.
We don’t sell your details or share them with anyone for advertising.
Who handles it
The website and the waitlist are hosted by Cloudflare. Emails are sent through an email service that delivers them for us. Both only handle your details to run these services for us. This page loads its fonts from Google Fonts. The site doesn’t use tracking cookies or analytics.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If Sway doesn’t launch, we’ll delete the list.
Your choices
- Every email from us has an unsubscribe link.
- To see what we hold about you, change it or delete it, email hello@letssway.app.
- If you’re unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to your data protection authority. In the UK, that’s the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
